Which Comes First?
Omm Namo Bhagavate

One December day after morning chanting at Satyachetana Ashram, Swamiji asked the devotees whether karma gives birth to jnana, or jnana gives birth to karma. Broadly speaking, karma is action, and jnana refers to knowledge or awareness, though the meanings go much deeper, as explained in the Bhagavad Gita.
The devotees held an afternoon satsang to discuss their answers to this contemplative inquiry. A day or two later, Swamiji shared his perspective in the following audio segment. Before listening, you might consider your own answer to this question.
