The permanent yajna shala is coming up beautifully at the Ganeshpuri campus, for performing Veda yajna 365 days per year. The yajna fire will be kept burning 24 hours per day, seven days per week. This yajna shala will be dedicated to the whole humanity, irrespective of religious belief, nationality, gender bias, caste barrier or cultural differences. This will contribute to the harmony of the elemental forces of our universe and open up the gates to world peace, prosperity and universal unity of purpose for all.

January 22, 2021 (BHUBANESWAR, Odisha, India) — The Satyachetana International Spiritual Movement today announced the launch of a Chaturveda Yajna to be held in all 30 districts of the Indian state of Odisha, beginning in March 2021. The movement’s founder, Swami Sri Atmananda, and the event’s management committee shared preliminary details at a press conference in Bhubaneswar, the state capital.
A Chaturveda Yajna is an immense undertaking, almost unimaginable in scope, that includes the chanting of every mantra of the Vedas—more than 20,000 mantras in total—with precise fire oblations for every mantra. The Chaturveda Yajna held by Satyachetana Movement in Bhubaneswar in 2017 was said to be the first such event performed in more than 5000 years.
The March 2021 Odisha Chaturveda Yajna is designed to spread awareness and educate the public about the real meaning and purpose of the Vedas. Rather than chanting all four Vedas in one location, the yajna team will move from district to district, performing a portion of the Chaturveda Yajna in each place, beginning with the Rig Veda and progressing through the Atharva, Yajur and Sama Vedas. Each location will feature a public talk by Swamiji, to reveal the inner meaning of that day’s Vedic mantras. More information will be posted soon.
